Sin

God hates sin we are told
Yet to watch it on the screen we are bold
And so gradually many hearts grow cold
Watching sin and damaging our souls untold

Is Idol worship on the screen entertainment
What does the Holy Spirit think of this depravement
Is murder on the screen amusement
Can you imagine the Holy Spirits amazement
Is promiscuity on the screen enchantment
Would the Lord approve of this enticement

I have no time to read the bible and pray
I have time to watch my Idols all day
I find it hard to memorise verses you say
But film dialogues you are ready to affray

What shall we say of our generation
On a path to spiritual degeneration
Where fleshly beauty commands veneration
And Spiritual beauty suffers extermination
